Yahoo expands Dublin operation with 200 jobs

US-based Yahoo is expanding its Dublin Operations Centre and has started recruiting for 200 additional staff in areas including technical and operations support, HR and internal financial services.

The company said on 21 March that it would fill the positions in the coming 12 months. Yahoo opened in Dublin in 2003 and the base provides services for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The company does not say how many employees in total it has in Dublin. The investment is supported by IDA Ireland.
