Cork academic moves to Sorbonne

Former University College Cork academic Grace Neville is moving to Sorbonne-Universités to lead its strategic planning committee for a 5-year term.

Neville, a former vice-president for teaching and learning, will apply her expertise in higher education in France with a budget of €150 million. Her move was announced by Cork on 17 November.

Sorbonne-Universités is a cluster of eight research and teaching institutions and has 58,000 students and 8,000 academic staff. Her post runs from 2014-19.
