Institutions agree greater collaboration on medical research

Trinity College Dublin and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland have signed an agreement to support faster exploitation of lab discoveries in medical research.

The consortium, announced on 11 June, will allow the partners to share knowledge to improve technology transfer. It will also assist broader collaborations and enhance engagement with industry, according to a statement from RCSI.

The deal comes under the Enterprise Ireland Technology Transfer Strengthening Initiative Phase 2 programme, with funding from the development body and both institutions.
