A team from the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute has visited the University College Dublin Lyons Research Farm to discuss ways of promoting a busier schedule of collaborative research.
Details of the visit by senior officials were released on 11 July by the institute. The university described key agricultural research programmes and in particular work underway at the Lyons Research Farm.
The two bodies had many “common objectives”, said the institute’s Sinclair Mayne after the visit. The university sought to use Lyons as a platform to deliver research and education in agriculture and veterinary medicine, said Michael Doherty of the school of veterinary medicine.
