Latest UK-Irish research fellows announced

Three researchers have won awards under the Royal Society-Science Foundation Ireland University Fellowship Scheme.

Each will receive funding for up to five years at an eligible institution in Ireland with the possibility of applying for a further three years. Funding comes from the foundation, while candidate selection is overseen by the Royal Society.

The three are among 43 university research fellows, of whom 12 are women, to receive awards from the society, it was announced on 4 July. All will begin their fellowships in October at universities in Britain and Ireland.
