Trinity College Dublin is to lead a €12 million consortium conducting research designed to bring more trees, plants, animals and birds into urban environments.
The Connecting Nature project involves 37 organisations from 19 countries, with Trinity College Dublin selected to lead the consortium.
Connecting Nature will see 11 European cities spending money on large-scale projects that aim to take the harsh edge off cities and bring nature closer to their populations, Trinity College Dublin said in a statement on 5 July.
