National University of Ireland Galway’s CÚRAM research centre has agreed a research collaboration with American firm Factor Bioscience.
The university announced the deal to study a pharmaceutical that may be valuable in respiratory disease on 16 August. Daniel O’Toole in the school of medicine will coordinate NUI Galway’s lab research activity.
This is the first such research agreement agreed by the Boston-based firm.
