University of Limerick professors Gavin Walker and Michael Zaworotko have been appointed as co-directors of the university’s synthesis and solid-state pharmaceutical research centre.
Announced on 24 August the two hold chairs at Limerick’s Bernal Institute and will now direct the research activities carried out by pharmaceutical research centre.
Walker is a principal investigator and is already involved in the centre’s research activities.
