Armagh Observatory and Planetarium is seeking to appoint a head of research.
The observatory is recognised for its high-quality research activities in a number of subjects and is one of the longest continuously operating astronomical research institutes in the world, the observatory said in a statement issued on 31 August.
Its planetarium also aims to increase public engagement and provide educational opportunities.
