The Irish government has announced the creation of a €22-million research centre on advanced manufacturing applications.
The I-Form Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, based at University College Dublin, will have 31 companies on board. According to the foundation, it will have a wide-ranging research remit, including digital technologies and advanced materials processing.
