Enterprise Ireland has launched a €14-million funding programme that seeks to attract experienced researchers to Ireland with a three-year fellowship.
Launched on 5 September, the Career-FIT PLUS programme is co-funded by the EU as part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions. The programme follows its predecessor Career-FIT, which offered places for 50 fellows.
In this second iteration, fellows will be chosen after two calls for proposals. The goal is to improve both the training and career opportunities available to the recruited fellows, Enterprise Ireland said in a statement.
