Publication advances progress for the establishment of new Irish research agency, Taighde Éireann
The Irish government has approved the publication of the Research and Innovation bill, which will establish a new funding agency by combining the Irish Research Council and Science Foundation Ireland.
The establishment of Taighde Éireann (Research Ireland) is a key action in the government’s Impact 2030: Ireland’s Research and Innovation Strategy, and will serve as the foundation for achieving many of the strategy’s goals.
