Government says funding will help institutions with regional campuses, which face higher costs
The Irish government has announced a €4.5 million boost for several mostly technology-based universities with remote regional campuses.
The Distributed Campus Support Fund will support higher education institutions [HEIs] with a multi-campus approach, which the government said is “fundamental to the delivery of the regional mission of our technological universities”.
