Fragmented debate could result in unsuitable policies, says advisory body
Dutch government officials and academics need to show more coherence when debating embryo research, a leading policy body has said.
The Rathenau Institute, which advises the Dutch government on research policy, has called for a conversation that includes both research on embryos and the application of novel techniques. The call was published just before a parliamentary consultation on the issue at the end of last year.
