Most Dutch parties favour increased spending but are divided on specialisation and diversity issues

Political parties in the Netherlands are mainly in favour of increasing university budgets but differ on issues such as diversity and how the money should be spent, Research Professional News can reveal.

In preparation for the general election on 17 March, Research Professional News spoke to MPs from six different parties about their policies on academic careers and financing.
