Materials, agriculture, healthcare, renewable energy and mobility projects receive major boost from Dutch fund
The Dutch government has allocated nearly €5 billion to R&D, knowledge development and infrastructure projects in the second round of the National Growth Fund—with an additional €1.3bn reserved for R&D proposals that need to be improved or are awaiting certain developments.
The funds were allocated according to expert opinion obtained from the Dijsselbloem committee, a group of independent advisers that selected 28 out of a total of 35 applications for funding. Of these, 20 are R&D projects, seven are knowledge development projects and one is an infrastructure project.
