The Netherlands was the best-performing EU country in terms of funding per inhabitant in the Horizon 2020 programme, a study has found.
With an average of €309 in allocated funding per inhabitant, the Netherlands was second overall behind Norway, according to a report from the AWTI, a Dutch advisory council for science, technology and innovation. Norway is not a member of the EU.
