Rathenau study highlights potential risks of AI

Science policy advisor believes technology creates concerns over privacy

The Rathenau institute has warned that national and international policies on artificial intelligence – including proposed EU regulations – may not be enough to control the threats posed by the new technologies.

The institute was commissioned by the Dutch Ministry of the Interior to answer the questions, what is AI?, what can it do now? and what might it do in the future?
