University association says international reputation of higher education in Netherlands is at risk

The Dutch university association (UNL) has voiced concerns over the Netherlands’ continued poor ratings for the financial independence of its academic institutions.

This comes after the European University Association released scorecards on the academic autonomy of universities in 35 European countries, ranking the Netherlands in 29th place, as in 2017.
