Register of interests open to inspection by the public
The Universities of the Netherlands (UNL) association has taken steps to ensure greater transparency in the activities of Dutch academics.
It has launched a website on which university staff will be required to register any additional activities unrelated to their main position and which will be open to public scrutiny.
