Dutch projects win funding to generate renewable hydrogen

Government awards just over €245 million to seven projects

The Dutch government has awarded €245.6 million in grants to seven hydrogen fuel projects, hoping that they will provide useful knowledge that can be applied to larger initiatives in the future.

The grants are part of an initiative to promote green energy and “close the cost difference between renewable and fossil fuel hydrogen”, the government said in a statement on 29 April.
