Danish fund extends Sapere Aude project

General permission for budget shifts and expanded deadlines for scientists held back by coronavirus

The Frie Forskningfond (The Danish Free Research Foundation) has approved a one-year project extension for all ongoing grants under the Sapere Aude programmes 1 and 2.

The foundation has said there is no need to apply for the project extension as it will be activated automatically. It said the crisis caused by the coronavirus would, among other things, result in researchers being unable to work at research institutions, attend international conferences or conduct field work for an uncertain period of time.
