Survey shows how country copes with lockdown that shuts universities but leaves people free to roam
A survey has found that Swedes are more concerned about the impact the coronavirus crisis will have on the economy than they are about becoming sick themselves.
The survey highlights Sweden’s approach to the virus, which falls short of a nationwide lockdown, as has been implemented in many other EU countries. Nonetheless, Swedes have been instructed to work from home, and universities have moved to distance learning.
