Emerald signs publishing deal with Sweden’s Bibsam group

Three-year agreement will provide free access to more than 300 journals

Emerald Publishing, a science publisher, has finalised an open-access agreement with Bibsam, Sweden’s consortium of university libraries.

The deal will run from 2021 until 2023, and will allow researchers from 29 of Bibsam’s members institutions access to more than 200,000 articles from 310 journals. The agreement also includes publishing vouchers, so academics can open access publish their articles in all of Emerald’s hybrid journals and gold open-access journals.
