Oslo sees rise in paper-authorship complaints

Ombudsman warns of undue pressure on junior researchers to add their supervisors to research work

The University of Oslo’s scientific ombudsman, the Vitenskapsombud, has expressed concern over an increase in complaints related to senior academic staff asking to be named on papers to which they have not contributed.
