Study shows little progress in Danish-Swedish life sciences

Differences in national systems hamper establishment of much-lauded Medicon Valley in Oresund

There are persistent difficulties with life sciences cooperation between Denmark and Sweden, despite two decades of effort to improve it, a study has shown.

The study, compiled by the Oresund Institute, a cross-border think tank supported by EU-funding, found that life science cooperation in the region is to a large extent maintained through personal contacts in business and research.
