Forskerforbundet fights for bigger budget

Norwegian academics plead with parliament to up research spending and ease competition

The Forskerforbundet, the Norwegian Association of Researchers, has provided input to the country’s government on raising the research budget.

In a plea to the four parliamentary committees dealing with public spending, the association said it was dissatisfied with proposals on the table for 2023 and would fight for a bigger research budget.
