Think tank to study quality of Danish university education

Funding from Novo Nordisk Foundation will support a review of quality from an international perspective

The Danish science think tank DEA has been awarded 4.9 million Danish kroner (€660,000) by the Novo Nordisk Foundation to investigate the quality of Danish university education.

The study will have a special focus on science, technology, engineering and maths and will aim to establish where pockets of excellence exist in Danish higher education, as well as areas for growth. It is one of the few national studies that will look at quality from an international perspective, the DEA said, and it aims to help the country “keep a finger on the pulse”.
