More than 900 academics and staff back call by West Bank university to cut ties

Hundreds of Nordic academics have joined calls for a boycott of ties to Israeli universities.

More than 900 researchers and members of university staff in the five Nordic countries, including the Faroe Islands and Greenland, had signed the petition as this article was published. They expressed solidarity with Palestinians and called for an immediate ceasefire in the Israel-Gaza conflict. They also demand a boycott of Israeli universities and that Nordic universities stop any work related to areas occupied by Israeli settlements.
