Danish universities should re-open English language courses, says report

A new OECD survey of Denmark has suggested the country should focus on boosting the number of science, technology, engineering and mathematics students at university, and that it needs to do more to encourage women to take up science.

Students’ interest in pursuing a science degree is waning in Denmark; there were 6 per cent fewer applications for Stem programmes in 2022 compared with 2019, according to the OECD report.
