Investigation of health minister’s university thesis comes in wake of research minister’s resignation
Norway’s health minister, Ingvild Kjerkol, is being investigated over alleged plagiarism in her master’s thesis, just days after the country’s research minister resigned after admitting to plagiarism herself.
Nord University in Bodø announced on 22 January that it was investigating Kjerkol’s 2021 thesis after the media published analyses highlighting passages of text that bore close similarities to another person’s thesis from 2015.
