Denmark to have one of the world’s most powerful computers

New supercomputer will place Danish artificial intelligence research at the forefront, say backers

The Danish National Centre for AI innovation has invested €93 million to purchase one of the world’s most powerful supercomputers. Those behind the project claim it will boost Danish research in artificial intelligence, along with other fields such as medicine, quantum computing and pharmacology.

The AI centre was established by the Novo Nordisk Foundation and the Export Investment Fund of Denmark.
