Nordics yet to adopt rules on use of AI in grant applications

Major research funders in the Nordic countries still lack rules on artificial intelligence

National funding organisations in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden have all confirmed in recent statements to Research Professional News that they are yet to make formal rules on the use of artificial intelligence in the grant-giving process.

This is despite the EU recently publishing its own guidelines on the subject and the European Research Council warning researchers to maintain their academic integrity if they use AI in writing their grant proposals.
