Norway biotech gets boost
A strategy published last month by Norway’s government proposes adding 110m kroner (€14.1m) each year between 2011 and 2016 to biotechnology research in the country. The report will address seafood production and marine sciences; land-based food and biomass production; environmentally friendly processes and products; and healthcare and health-related services.
