Norway is lobbying for increased marine and maritime research in Horizon 2020, the successor to Framework 7.
Tora Aasland, Norway’s research minister, made the case for increasing funding for what she describes as ‘blue growth’ at the biannual Informal Competitive Council meeting in Copenhagen on 1 and 2 February, which was devoted to discussions about Horizon 2020.
