The European Research Council is taking steps to increase the number of researchers from central and eastern Europe receiving EU funding, by introducing current grant holders to potential ERC applicants.
A pilot event, held from 28 February to 1 March in Vienna, brought together 80 researchers with 20 ERC grant winners to discuss their work.
