A group of five technology universities has announced a plan to make the Nordic region a global focal point for research, education and innovation in the field of artificial intelligence.
The Nordic Five Tech alliance of leading technical universities in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden formally launched the Nordic AI network on 1 May. The network plans to bring together and utilise the leading expertise in AI with the aim of turning the region into a global focal point in this area.
N5T comprises five technical universities: Aalto University in Finland, Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden, Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Sweden’s Royal Institute of Technology and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
