Croatian research institutions put out of action by earthquake

University of Zagreb among the institutions affected

Several Croatian research institutions have been made unusable by a powerful earthquake that struck near Zagreb on 22 March, according to the country’s government.

A statement from the Ministry of Science and Education, published by local media, said that the rectorate and faculty of medicine of the University of Zagreb have been damaged and are not in use.
