Pilot use of ChronosHub has been positively evaluated, says Swiss National Science Foundation

The Swiss National Science Foundation is extending a pilot project it is running with service provider ChronosHub to simplify paying for the costs of publishing open-access research papers, following a positive evaluation.

An analysis of 1,000 publications paid for during a nine-month period found that ChronosHub’s platform made it easier to settle publishers’ article-processing charges, reducing the workload for researchers, the SNSF announced on 8 September.
