Universities in Denmark’s capital region took home half of this year’s Elite Research Prizes awarded by the Council of Independent Research, which funds blue skies research, the government said on 19 December.
The prizes are given to “exceptionally talented” younger scientists as part of a career programme aimed at boosting the country’s up and coming research elite.
