Danish industrial R&D spend grows despite crisis

Statistics published by the Danish science ministry on 23 June show that Denmark's industrial R&D spend has grown despite the economic downturn.

According to the figures, Danish industry spent 34.7 billion kroner (€4.7bn) on R&D in 2009. This year the figure is projected to be between 38.6bn and 41.5bn kroner.
