Danish innovation strategy takes shape

Public-private partnerships will get a boost in the national innovation strategy being hammered out in Denmark. The government also wants more commercialisation of research results, the minister for higher education and research, Morten Østergaard, said on 29 June.

Other central points in the strategy include more entrepreneurship in education and further global collaboration on innovation. Østergaard is also keen that discoveries made in research labs reach the market faster.
