The Danish government has announced a plan to improve energy and climate management, hoping to create jobs and boost export opportunities for Danish companies active in energy technology.
The Growth Plan includes a total of 30 initiatives organised in five areas: transformation of the energy system, promotion of technology export, energy efficient buildings, R&D, and efficient resource use. These initiatives are meant to help companies expand their capacities in energy technology development and management.
“It is a challenge to transform the energy system while preserving and developing Denmark’s competitiveness. It requires significant research and highly qualified staff,” said education minister Morten Østergaard. “Therefore, the government will continue to invest in research and development in energy.”
