Two early-career researchers from the Danish Technical University have been recognised by the Danish Council for Strategic Research for doing interdisciplinary and innovative research.
Haiyan Ou was recognised for doing work with “particularly high innovation potential”. She has been working on light-emitting diode (LED) technology, developing LEDs that last longer, shine more brightly at low temperatures, and emit more pleasant light. She has received two patents and started a company based on her work.
