Denmark starts renewable energy cooperation with China

Denmark's trade minister has signed twelve contracts to boost collaboration between Danish and Chinese companies and institutions specialising on renewable energy.

A public innovation pot has been launched by the ministry to fund these twelve projects. The pool includes several universities, private companies and the Danish Energy Agency, as well as their Chinese counterparts.

Pia Olsen Dyhr, Denmark’s trade minister, said the public support was crucial in initiating this long-term strategic partnership. She added that the partnership will help fill a highly visible need for more renewable energy in China.
