Danish researchers and companies have won record amounts of funding from Framework 7, the EU’s framework programme for research and innovation, according to Denmark's ministry of science.
A report issued by the ministry of science, innovation and higher education showed Danish research groups and companies have received nearly 80 million Danish kroner a month since Framework 7 started in 2007. The total amount of Framework 7 funding on by Denmark so far is around DKr 5.8bn, the ministry said.
Only Finland and Switzerland won a higher share of Framework 7 funding in relation to their respective population, according to the report.
