Finnish R&D training needs overhaul, report says

Finnish universities need to reform their training mechanisms and recruit more staff and students from abroad in order to maintain their competitiveness in research, the Academy of Finland has said.

The Academy’s report, the State of Scientific Research in Finland 2012, published on 8 October, says that more attention needs to be paid to the training of scientific research professionals in the country.
