Turku University announced on 2 October plans to establish a national research institute to study the United States.
The purpose of the centre is to create new research and foster networks between Finland and the US. “It will coordinate multidisciplinary research and strengthen trans-Atlantic knowledge,” said professor Keijo Virtanen in a press release.
