Finland and the NSF boost research collaboration

Finland’s national funding agency Tekes and the Academy of Finland have launched nine collaborative research programmes in cooperation with the National Science Foundation.

According to Jari Multisilta from Helsinki University, the coordinator of the collaboration, Finland and the US share similar challenges that the research projects are trying to address. The fields of research to be funded include learning through games, challenges of multiculturalism and efficient use of social media in society.
