Finland and Japan team up on medical projects

The Academy of Finland and the Japan Science and Technology Agency have granted funding to three Finnish-Japanese research projects in medical information and communication technologies.

The Academy of Finland’s stake in the project is €1.1 million. The Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation, Tekes, did not contribute any funding despite being the third partner in the project.
